What Causes This Error?

Rich text blocks in BaseHub can be configured to allow or restrict specific markup types (like bold, italic, links, etc.) through the properties panel. When text contains markup that isn't allowed in the block's properties, this error appears.

How to Resolve

You have two options to fix this error:

  1. Remove unauthorized markup: Edit the text to remove any formatting that isn't allowed in the properties.

  2. Update properties: Enable the required markup types in the block's properties panel to allow the existing formatting.

Best Practices

  • Configure properties first when setting up new rich text blocks

  • Use consistent markup settings across similar content types
