Edit mode

The edit mode is a minimal yet powerful switch to work exclusively on content, without worrying affecting the API schema.

If you have the ability to modify the repository schema—either as a team owner or member—you’ll find the edit mode switch in the top-right corner of the editor. This feature enables a streamlined environment, focusing your workspace on content editing by hiding layout and block property adjustments.

You can enable or disable the edit mode clicking the switch on the top right corner.

When you need to focus solely on content, this mode hides sensitive options like block properties, ensuring you don't accidentally alter the layout. You can switch this mode off at any time without affecting your content edits, as it simply modifies the user interface to prevent unintentional changes to the block structure.
